In this new century, information is ubiquitous and affordable. Rightly has someone commented that we are being infowhelmed. The “public square” has shifted from the town hall, to television industry, to the Internet. This technology has opened vistas of resources to the classroom teacher that would have been inconceivable only a short 10-years ago.

It is important that Christian educators engage the upcoming generations in this new forum. It is important that proven pedagogy not be rendered obsolete by a flurry of pseudo-science. As Christians, for whom the indwelling Spirit of the Creator God dwells; we should be at the forefront of making this new medium serve the purposes of the gospel, and not rest satisfied with the turn of the 20th century, assembly line model of education.
